So How Does This Work?

Our conferencing software is as easy to use as an online chat room or IM program. We create a unique registration and login page for your event, branded with your logo and information. Each speaker clicks on a button to start a new meeting, generating a unique login key that is only available to registered attendees. Those attendees login, entering an online environment that includes a large screen for PowerPointTM presentations and a sidebar for optional live chat (also perfect for Q&A with a designated moderator to field questions):

Event speakers connect by plugging a microphone into their own computers and logging in. Simply clicking on the PowerPointTM button brings the presentation into the window, and when the speaker clicks to generate each slide, attendees see the presentation in real time. The streaming audio output is clear and sharp--no fuzz or crackle like you'd get with a conventional phone connection. This makes each presentation seem personal and close--more like a chat at a table than a lecture from a podium.

While the session is in progress, attendees can chat in the optional pull-down window and/or submit questions for the speaker to the session moderator. At the end of the talk, the moderator gives as many questions as possible to the speaker, who can then answer them audibly rather than having to type a response--just as would be possible at an in-person event. Our conferencing software can also record each session for later download as MP3s or media files complete with the visual presentations. Those unable to attend the conference in real time would then have the opportunity to download sessions for a fee (much as someone might purchase CDs or cassettes of a conference session to listen to later).

Finally, in addition to creating your unique, branded conference webpage with registration and login, AHC can provide a "Vendor Hall" that will link directly to your own online store, providing attendees a way to purchase any materials mentioned in sessions or recommended by your organization or business.

If you already run in-person conferences, AHC makes it possible for you to reach an even greater audience by plugging your scheduled speakers into online sessions that run concurrently with the in-person event. There is no additional overhead, no technological know-how required, and no up-front fees beyond the low intial set-up fee to get your conference online. All of ACH's fees to run the conference and maintain your event site (including archiving downloadable recorded files) come out of the attendee registration costs you decide upon when you contract with us to run your event--and those fees are only paid out to AHC when attendees actually register for the event, once again costing you nothing up front.
